First Graders No More

The girls were so excited to find out that their First Grade teacher would be Mrs. Hughes.  That is who they were hoping to get.  We were all pleased with our entire first grade year!!! Mrs. Hughes left us in March to have a most precious baby girl, Layla Westyn.  We couldn't blame her for wanting to be home with such a precious baby.  We were blessed with a wonderful substitute, Mrs. Gillies, who had 22 years of teaching experience.  We never skipped a beat.  Our class got along extremely well and were a close knit group of precious little friends.  Wonderful memories of first grade to look back on and a fun second grade ahead.

After much prayer we decided to enroll the girls in a private school for second grade.  We have wonderful memories from Inverness and some sweet friendships that we will maintain.  The girls are so smart and talented they will thrive in any environment.  They love playing school and we are prayerful that they will always want to learn and love learning.
